About

On this page, I have curated a selection of projects undertaken during my tenure as a consultant for your perusal. Owing to proprietary constraints, I am limited to providing detailed information regarding my role and the specific tasks accomplished in writing. I am more than willing to give additional context and insights into these projects should further clarification be necessary.

Global, Technology, Strategy Architecture Project

Our Learning and Development team was engaged to collaborate on a specialized learning initiative tailored for our IT Architects, and I assumed the role of the project lead. I orchestrated a comprehensive learning experience for the Architects, meticulously crafting a 12-week program within Degreed, our designated learning experience platform. This program involved curating content sourced from reputable platforms such as LinkedIn Learning, Pluralsight, O'Reilly, and other industry-leading outlets.

The 12-week journey commenced with self-directed foundational learning modules, strategically designed to establish a unified architectural groundwork across all teams within GTSA. Key topics encompassed AWS, Cloud Architecture, and Presentation Skills, ensuring a well-rounded comprehension of essential concepts.

Each week of the program was thoughtfully structured to provide a holistic learning experience, encompassing both technical proficiencies and soft skills training. To enhance the collaborative aspect, we introduced cohorts, fostering an environment where learners could exchange experiences and insights with their peers.

Furthermore, I introduced a gamification element by incorporating a weekly Kahoot quiz. This not only challenged the learners but also injected an element of fun into the learning process.

Early Career Learning Development program

Working with a team, I successfully spearheaded the facilitation of the EDGE (Early Career Development and Growth) program, a comprehensive initiative aimed at nurturing the talents of early career associates in STEM fields such as solutions engineering, software development, architecture, emerging technologies etc, One of my key responsibilities within this program was the facilitation of onboarding sessions for over 80+ new early career hires, each with distinct backgrounds and entry points into their respective roles. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by individuals entering diverse technical domains, I designed and executed tailored onboarding sessions that catered to the specific needs and learning preferences of these associates. These sessions were meticulously crafted to encompass technical skill development, team collaboration strategies, industry best practices, and company culture integration. By employing interactive learning methodologies, including workshops, role-playing exercises, and peer-to-peer discussions, I ensured that the onboarding experience was engaging, informative, and empowering for each participant. Through these efforts, I played a pivotal role in providing a solid foundation for these early career professionals, enabling them to seamlessly integrate into their roles and contribute effectively to the organization's objectives.

Social Learning Projects

I collaborated in the development of a campaign within our Learning and Development (L&D) Slack community, a two-week learning initiative designed to encourage associates to reflect on their learning experiences throughout the past year. Each day, participants were presented with a challenge or thought-provoking question related to their learning journeys. These prompts were met with enthusiastic engagement, with nearly 200 associates actively participating each day. To incentivize involvement, prizes were awarded to selected participants at the end of every challenge.

The success of this campaign was evident in the active participation and positive feedback received from learners. It provided a valuable opportunity for associates to revisit and enhance their essential skills, both within and beyond the workplace environment.

At our L&D team, we are dedicated to promoting social learning through structured learning cohorts. These cohorts bring associates together to complete learning programs, training sessions, and boot camps in a collaborative and engaging manner. To streamline this process and ensure its effectiveness, I took the initiative to create a comprehensive Playbook. This guide serves as a valuable resource for those interested in forming a cohort and provides participants with the necessary tools to maintain these groups effectively. Through these initiatives, we aim to make the learning experience enjoyable, interactive, and beneficial for all associates involved.
